THE ROLEmodel MISSION STATEMENT:
To foster gratitude within the hearts of young people and to encourage positive change within our community and world.
WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO BE A ROLEMODEL?
A ROLEmodel needs to be dedicated, no matter her mission; whether it's making peanut butter bird feeders or serving dinner to a shelter.
I look for good hearts - The hearts that want to genuinely make a difference and hearts that put others before themselves.
A ROLEmodel must be empathetic. I want all of the 2k20 ROLEmodels to always think about the other person and to feel what they might feel.
WHAT ARE THE PERKS OF BEING A ROLEMODEL?
COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS
We have a lot of fun opportunities to make a difference in our community AND have fun together!
These community service hours look wonderful on scholarship, college or job applications!
LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION
Every ROLEmodel will receive a letter of recommendation from me that they may use for scholarships, college or job applications!
We always have one giant photoshoot at the beginning of the summer to let the community know we're here and ready to make a difference!
From the outfits to the hair and makeup...it's all stylish and fun!
Every ROLEmodel receives these digital images for their personal use.
Upon contract signing, every ROLEmodel will receive a swag bag loaded with amazing products.
A LIFE CHANGING MISSION
Every year I introduce a new mission to the team.
It may be local. It may be in another part of the country.
Wherever it is, it will impact their life and fill them with memories they'll never forget.
The ROLEMODELS ARE HEADED TO BOSTON!!
I'm so excited to introduce the team to FIVE amazing kiddos from GO SHOUT LOVE!
The team will spend the morning with these amazing kids and take them through the New England Aquarium.
They will also sit down with the parents and learn all about the importance of advocacy and the life changing careers that benefit these children.
The team will also serve at an amazing kitchen called Community Serving!
Their mission is to actively engage the community to provide medically tailored, nutritious, scratch-made meals to
chronically and critically ill individuals and their families.
The team will have first hand experience in their kitchen and help prepare and package meals for their daily delivery.
They will learn the importance of serving others and gain knowledge in the healing power of food.
Seafood and whale watching are also on the agenda!
The team will be fundraising for this trip!
Each ROLEmodel has a goal of $750.
The team will have many local oppuritnites to serve as well!
The Hot Air Ballon Festival.
The Little Free Pantry.
