BOSTON CANCELLED
Due to covid our mission trip to Boston was cancelled. The ROLEmodels fundraised and had their trip paid for. They rallied together and decided to use their funds to spread some joy. And boy did they ever...
CAKES FOR NURSES
The team ordered delicious cakes from the one and only ONE STOP.
We delivered them to nurses at the hospital as well as the two nursing homes.
A well deserved little slice of heaven.
MONETARY DONATIONS
The team chose one national and one local orginzation to donate funds too.
We chose Go Shout Love and SENCA.
SENCA has been amazing for our Little Free Pantry and we wanted to give back so they could give forward.
We also opened up nominations for a family in our community who could use a little extra love.
Nominations poured in for the Kennel Family and we were to happy to give them a boost.
CHRISTMAS EXTRAVAGANZA
Our final mission.
We wanted to make Christmas special for all of the kids in our community.
The team took their remaining funds and WENT SHOPPING.
They loaded up carts with toys and home goods to help make Christmas happier for local families.
We delivered the goods to SIX PENCE in Falls City and the ladies handed them out to their sweet families.
It was a fun and wonderful give back opportunity that I Know will stay with them forever.
WHAT A YEAR.
As I sit here and think back on the past year I'm so proud.
This group. This mission.
I hope I was able to offer these seniors an empathic piece of their puzzle.
